I'm not going to tell the joke. Wasn't that funny anyway.

Got a call from a chick selling give aways like refrigerator magnets etc. Her intro was a joke that is bound to offend some. I wasn't offended, and the humor in it was the pitch started out with a dirty joke. Never had that approach before...

isnt someone always offended these days?

unless it is racist i dont personally think any joke is offensive.....were all too offended by things.............what ever happened to the ethnic jokes i heard as a kid.....now all jokes are dirty or stupid kid jokes....the things that you can make fun of is very limited

It's still not how I would start off a cold call.

No phone calls, no money.

No phone calls, no money. One of my businesses, I'm breaking all the usual marketing and sales rules. I don't answer the phone (most of the calls are junk anyway, and I call everyone else back usually within the hour), I don't advertise. I made nothing following the rules. Once I started breaking the rules, I started making sales. Can't explain why, but I'm sticking with it until it doesn't work any more and then I'll change again.
