Hi Brandi!

I took a look at your site because of my interest in equity crowdfunding.

But I do have a question about Bitcoin. This may be old news for many but I wonder if you could explain it a bit. It seems to me that it is something akin to a “barter” currency. Is that correct or am I off track? Does it have a conversion value to dollars or is it confined to use only among Bitcoin users?
