Merchant services

I'm opening a small retail store and I've been trying to choose a merchant service company. Can anyone recommend a company they are happy with?

I can tell you one to avoid like the plague. Don't go with EMS (Electronic Merchant Services if I recall correctly) The one we use is tied into our accounting system but they have been good. Sage is the one we use and are happy with.
