Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I am starting a small business where I go to peoples' homes and help them with their computers, same kind of stuff geek squad does. I have a website and everything, but I'm not sure what to do for a service agreement, or if I need one at all. I am planning on requiring payment as soon as I'm done, before I leave their house. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Brennen. I think you'll want a contract or service agreement given you'll be in people's homes and working on their computers. You can find sample contracts online and adapt them to your needs. Here's one I found by searching for contract for IT services (http://www.itdonut.co.uk/it/it-support/it-support-contracts). There are others and you can try different search terms.
As for payment, do you have a way to collect it? If not looking into Square (https://squareup.com/) or similar is something you'll want to do. That way you can swipe credit cards using your phone.
Hope that helps.
