Need tips on how to open an instrument/sound/stage store that doubles as a music lesson school. What should be my first step?
Write a business plan that includes all of your start up costs, monthly operating expenses including payroll, what services you plan to offer, how you will build and run them, and a marketing plan of how you will get and keep customers.

Are you building from scratch, or renting and constructing on top of an existing space?
What kind of instruments do you plan to stock? How much will it cost to stock a store?
What's the stage for? Do you plan on having performances and bands?

Get your plan together so that you can figure out the costs.

Anything you do without knowing what actual costs are will just be wasting time guessing and completely wrong.

After that, then figure out where you're going to get the money.
