Remember when Meerkat was supposed to be the next new hot thing? Then Twitter opened Periscope and immediately killed them.
Now Facebook is in the game and has live streaming and it's open to anyone.
The marketing implications are pretty huge for people who know how to leverage it.
Have decent mobile phone, a plan, some basic skills and some talent and that's all you need. And from what I've seen the talent part is optional.

I think this is another game changer and opens up access to live streams as well as the ability to live stream to any and everyone.
Probably going to be pretty good for news, sports and entertainment entities too.
