That way I'd have a place to put client coverage like this :-)

Clients that recently appeared in ESPN Girls Magazine and their website...

Video at Media Center - ESPN RISE (http://rise.espn.go.com/all-sports/media/Media-Center.aspx#/flicks/e7de24da-4854-432d-90c8-68e6049e874b)

Article at Wrap stars Smolinskis onto something - ESPN RISE (http://rise.espn.go.com/all-sports/articles/2010/03/01-Smolinski-Wrap-Sisters.aspx)

Cool! Nice to see results as well as talking/writing about achieving them.

Very cool Patrysha. That's great to see someone so young get a great idea and start a business.

Yeah, they are my star clients :-) They inspired my Step Between Publicity program, because essentially I taught their mom how to be their publicist...the coverage they are getting now is technically not my work (but I am getting tape of them soon recommending me because they do credit me with the current coverage...)

Very entrepreneurial family :-) Both parents are business owners and then the girls have their partnership...

Since we'e bragging, can I join in? I wrote a post for Smashing Magazine and they published it today.

Does Form Follow Function? (http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/03/23/does-form-follow-function/)

It's a long post on design and the phrase "form follows function" and I realize not everyone here will be interested in that topic. But since we're bragging...

Patrysha, congratulations on the nice publicity. Very cool.

Steve, how exciting, the Smashing Magazine post is up. I'll have to read it tonight.

Can I add my brag when my new blog for Stitches Magazine goes live? :-)

Awesome - congratulations to all of you!

Um... my most recent bragging rights... I wrote a questionnaire for local political candidates that has generated a lot of discussion amongst the few in our community who care enough to say something in the public forum of the online only newspaper. And I virtually kicked the one candidate in the rear who was ready to give up his campaign because another candidate is pretty popular within the community so he filled out his questionnaire too and I have 100% participation now! It's not much, and it's not paid work - but hey, it's something I accomplished :D

Well done, everyone!

Jenn, sometime it's the unpaid stuff that is most rewarding.

Way to go Frederick and Jenn! It's great to be out there and making a difference.

Steve, I have to say I read the Smashing Magazine post last night. Great work. I can't imagine the research that went into that piece. You did well.

Thanks Kristine. I did put a lot into it. Plenty of research and rewriting and then revising based on feedback from Smashing Magazine. Vitaly, the owner of the site, is a really good guy who helped me shape the post.

Now to get started on the next one. :)
