Welcome aboard, Bill. That tool franchise wouldn't be Snap-on Tools, would it. I always thought that would be a great franchise to own.

Welcome to the forum Bill. We'll be happy to offer advice where we can. One thing we never seem to lack is an opinion.

Thanks for joining the community.

Jamesray, I live about 30 mins outside of STL in Godfrey, Il

Spider, I own a Matco Tools Franchise. Its nice, but I am looking to expand into something else. There are MUCH better business models out there.

I've never been to Godfrey but my grandfather's first cousin, Hazel, and her husband, Raymond Block, started Block's Ice Cream about 90 years ago. There used to be a bunch of Block's ice cream parlors in the area around Alton but I understand the last one (if it is still there) is in Godfrey.

Welcome Bill! I'm well familiar with Matco, Snap-on, and etc... Hubby has worked in maintenance and mechanic work for years we inventoried his tools a few years ago - and then took out an extra insurance policy. :)
