Looking to start a Smog Test Only in Sacramento, CA.

Hi everyone, my name is Kris and I am a 27 year old stuck in a dead-end job that doesn't even pay $40k annually. I have a strong background in the Automotive Industry but I wish to not work on vehicles. I've been working for a Credit Union for the last 7 years after leaving the Auto Industry and I have enjoyed the white collar industry. As I am getting older and looking to purchase my first home and start a family, I finally realized that a single man's income cannot support either one of those "wants" that I have. So I am here today to ask about how I can go about starting my own Smog Shop (i.e. Classes, certs, licensing, etc.) Thank you all. :)

Kris, I think the reason you haven't had any responses is because nobody here really knows much about smog testing and the regs in CA. If you could give us a brief tutorial on what is required, we may be able to better help you.
