Point of sales system and quickbooks

Hello, two partners and I are opening a pet supply and food store in the upcoming months. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to a good POS system to use for this venture? IT has already been decided that we will use quickbooks for accounting purposes. Is there a way to find out of the POS System will be compatible with quickbooks?

I think QB has its own integrated POS component.

A large number of POS systems integrate with quick books these days. It's the level of integration that you should be concerned with. Some vendors claim to be integrated, but really they just offer some sort of export/import feature which doesn't solve much. If I was you, I would look for seamless integration. That way, your POS sales will auto populate in QB without you having to do it manually. Shopkeep offers this through a third party app called RetailIntel, and my personal favorite Vend just released seamless integration with QB. Both Shopkeep and Vend are solid POS systems for any retail business.

What does your budget look like? I've heard a lot of good things about inFlow, and from what I've seen, it has a beautiful user interface (design and pleasure to view are big things with me).
