Physical Presence

We created an S-corp for a new school in Colorado and are having trouble with the term Physical Presence. We have a PO box but online I find that PO box's are not physical presence. Thoughts?

A physical presence is any place where the business of your business is performed. For Amazon, that's any warehouse location. For Office Depot, it's any store, distribution center, corporate office, sales office, etc. You can't put an employee in a PO box, so no business is performed there. If you're working out of your house (as directed by your company), that would be a physical presence in the location where your house is located.

You need a house or mailbox, at least.
