    Default Researching bookkeeping...

I few research questions for those who hire a bookkeeper...
What type of business to do have?
    Approx earnings per year?
Is the bookkeeper a private person, professional service/CPA?
How much do you pay your bookkeeper?
Is s/he does payroll how many employees?
Does s/he do your taxes as well?

    Thanks for your answers!!

What type of business to do have? Accounting services
Approx earnings per year? Depends on whether a fee increase is decided, but unlimited potential
Is the bookkeeper a private person, professional service/CPA? We do our own bookkeeping
How much do you pay your bookkeeper? Not nearly enough
Is s/he does payroll how many employees? We don't pay employees
Does s/he do your taxes as well? You need to file a tax return?

I have always found that local accounting firms offer the best service as they are local (understand your market) and you can easily contact them. I also think that instead of asking what people here use - you might think more about your needs and find a firm that will meet them completely. Most local accounting firms are cheaper than you think and still provide quality service.
