when you get a comment on your blog, do you reply on your blog? do you chat w ith your readers?

Sometimes I do. It depends.

If it's someone who's commented before, or if they ask a question in the comment, I will probably reply.

I almost always reply to every comment left for me. I think it's important to connect with your readers and replying to them helps bring them back for more. It can also encourage others to leave comments.

The only reason I say 'almost always' is on occasion someone leaves a comment that seems to border on spam. It doesn't cross the line so I leave the comment, but I may not reply to the comment. Otherwise as long as I see the comment, I reply to it.

I do reply to comments, especially to the ones with differing opinions, or that are just downright mean. Politics gets a lot of people agitated.
