Can my wife and I still file jointly if I am the only member of a single member LLC?

Single member LLCs are considered "disregarded entities" by the IRS. All profits or losses flow to your 1040 (through a Schedule C, if I remember right). Yes, you can file jointly. My wife and I have 4 single-person LLCs (along with a corporation) and file jointly.

As Freelancer said, your single member LLC does not affect the ability of you and your wife to file a joint tax return. For that matter, it really makes no difference what the source of your income is or even if one of you has no income at all. So the answer would be the same if you and you wife owned a corporation, partnership or a multi-member LLC.
